This article will explain how to set a default sending method for simulated phishing emails within the Phishing Tackle platform. Setting a default sending method means that when you create a new campaign, the 'Select your phishing delivery method' setting will be set to your configured preference.
How to access the 'Email Sending' menu
-
In the platform, under Setup in the left-hand column, select 'Organisation' then click 'Settings'.
-
Then click 'Email Sending'.
On the Email Sending page, you will see all of the sending method options:
- Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP)
- Microsoft Azure Active Delivery
- Google Gmail Active Delivery
How to select a different default sending option
To use Azure Active Delivery or Google Gmail Active Delivery, you must have an active Integration configured with the necessary permissions configured. The knowledge base articles below will explain how to create a Google Instant Sync Active Integration and a Azure Active Integration.
- From the list of options, select which sending option you would like to assign to your sending method.
- Once you have selected your desired sending method, click save at the top right of the page.
- In the left-hand column, under Phishing, click 'Campaigns', then click 'Create New Phishing Campaign'.
- On Step 2, the 'Recipient Information' tab, under 'Select Your Phishing Delivery Method', your sending method will be updated to your default phishing sending method.
