Domain pools change the "From" email address of email templates and replace them with those from your corresponding Domain Pool according to the matching tags.

Note: Domain pools are only recommended if your email protection system requires you to limit the range of "From" email addresses in your SMTP delivered simulated phishing emails. This does not apply to the "Mail From" address. How to create a Domain Pool

  1. From the main dashboard, under SETUP, select Organisation and then Settings.

  2. From the settings list, click Domain Pools.
  3. On the Domain Pools page, click Add Domain Pool.

  4. Add a description for the Domain Pool and the tags that you would like to associate with it. For clarity, we recommend that the description of your Domain Pool matches the tag you wish to use for it. If the selected template has the selected tag, the email address of the template will be changed to use a different domain from the pool.

  5. Add the list of domains you would like to include in the domain pool. Ensure that only one domain is entered per line.

  6. Click Save.

What is a Default Pool

The default Domain Pool is utilised for any emails that do not yet have a dedicated pool. If a template is used in a simulated phishing campaign and contains a tag that has not been added to a domain pool, a domain from the default pool will be chosen.

Only one Default Pool can exist, so selecting a Domain Pool as your default pool will replace any previous selection.

How to set your Default Pool

  1. Click 'Add Domain Pool' from the Domain Pool page.
  2. Input your description, tags and list of domains.
  3. Click the 'Default Pool' box at the bottom of the screen.

  4. Click 'Save'.

How to enable Domain Pools

Once you have created your Domain Pools, you can enable them.

  1. On the Domain Pools page, under the yellow message box tick the box "Use Domain Pools to override the FROM email address domain in your simulated phishing emails when using SMTP delivery".

  2. Then click the 'Save' button to save your settings. Your phishing campaigns will now select a domain from your configured pool.

How to edit a Domain Pool

If you have already configured Domain Pools and would like to add or remove domains, you can simply edit your previously created Domain Pool rather than creating a new one.

  1. Visit the Domain Pool page by clicking 'Organisation' and then 'Settings'. Select the drop-down arrow next to the Domain Pool you wish to edit.

  2. Click 'Edit'.
  3. You will now be able to make changes to the previously created Domain Pool.
  4. Once you have made any necessary changes Click 'Save'.
