If you're using SonicWall, we recommend allowlisting to ensure that Phishing Tackle's simulated phishing emails and training course notifications successfully reach your users. We recommend allowlisting SonicWall Email Security and Content Filter Service (CFS).
How to allowlist SonicWall Email Security
- Login to SonicWall Email security device using an admin account.
- Click 'Manage'.
- Click 'Security Services'.
- Click 'Anti-Spam'.
- Click 'Address Book'.
- Click 'Allowed'.
- Click 'Add'.
- Click 'IPs' in the drop-down menu.
- Enter our IP addresses, our IP addresses can be found here. Please ensure each IP address is separated by a comma or carriage return.
How to allowlist SonicWall Content Filter Service (CFS)
- Login to SonicWall using an admin account and visit the management page.
- Click on 'Policies'.
- Click on 'Objects'.
- Under 'Address objects', click 'Add'.
- Enter the IP address of our Phishing URLs. You can click here to view our Phishing URLs.
- Repeat the previous step for each IP address that needs to be added.
- Create a name for the Exclusion Group.
- Select the IP addresses you wish to add to the exclusion group and click the arrow pointing to the right.
- Once all IP addresses have been added, click 'OK'.
- Log in to SonicWall using an admin account and click 'Manage'.
- Click on 'Security Services'.
- Click on 'Content Filter'.
- Click on 'Excluded Address'.
- Select the Exclusion group that you created earlier.
- Click 'Accept'.
Note: Once you have completed the instructions outlined in this article, we recommend creating a test phishing campaign with a small group of recipients. This will allow you to ensure that the simulated phishing email successfully reaches their inbox without being blocked.
