You will need to allowlist our IP addresses in your Mail Assure account to ensure our emails reach your users' mailboxes without any issues. This guide will explain how to allow our emails through Mail Assure.
Allowlisting in N-able Mail Assure
In N-able Mail Assure you can allowlist specific IP addresses .Follow the steps below to allowlist IP addresses in N-able Mail Assure:
- Access the Admin settings panel.
- Click 'Whitelist filtering rules'.
- Click 'Add rule'.
- Create a name for the Rule. We recommend 'Phishing Tackle Allowlist.
- From the Match dropdown choose Sender IP.
- Click 'Sender (to match envelope address)'.
- Enter both of our IP addresses which can be found here.
- Click Save.
Allowlisting in Solarwinds Mail Assure
NOTE: This section of the article article is derived from Solarwinds' official documentation IP Whitelisting. As the nature of each installation will differ greatly, we encourage you to liaise directly with your support contact at Solarwinds should you encounter any issues with this guide.
You can add rules that apply to a specific domain in the Domain Rules tab or, if accessing from the Admin Level, to all domains linked to the logged in Admin in the Admin Rules tab.
- In the Admin Level or Domain Level Control Panel, select Incoming - Protection Settings > Whitelist filtering rules.
The Domain Rules tab is displayed in the Incoming Whitelist filtering rules page.
- If you want to apply a rule to a domain, remain on this tab. If you are accessing from the Admin Level and want to apply a rule to a specific Admin, open the Admin Rules tab.

- Hit Add rule:
The dialog that is displayed here depends on whether you have enabled or disabled the 'Use advanced custom filtering rules' option in the User profile page.

NOTE: If use advance custom filtering rules is active within the User profile, you will see the following dialogue box:
- This will require writing a regular expression (regex) to whitelist our mail servers and will require experience writing regular expressions. We do not offer instructions or support for writing regular expressions, and encourage the use of simple whitelist filtering rules instead.

- Enter a Rule name, e.g. "Phishing Tackle IP 1"
- From the Match dropdown menu, choose Sender IP > is > [Phishing Tackle IP Address]
- Our full list of IP addresses can be found here.
- A new simple whitelist filtering rule will need to be created for each of our IP addresses.
- Hit Save.
