The report automation feature will allow you to generate reports and send them at any time you want quickly and easily. This knowledge base article will explain how to create custom email templates for automated reports and how to configure automated reports.

How to create a report automation template
This section of the article will explain how to customise the email template that will be sent to the report recipients.

Under "REPORTING" the left-hand column click "Templates".
- Click "Emails".
- Click "ADD NEW NOTIFICATION TEMPLATE".
- Enter a description, From Name, From Email Address, Email Subject, and your desired email message. Our full guide on editing a template email can be found here.
- When you are happy with the template click the "SAVE" button.
How to manually create a report automation

Under "REPORTING" the left-hand column click "Automation".
- Click "ADD NEW AUTOMATED REPORT".
- Enter a description for your automation.
- Click the drop-down arrow to select a notification to use for this automated report.
- Click the drop-down arrow to select a report to use in this automation.
Once you have selected the report you would like to use you will be provided with additional settings to customise the report. In our example we have selected the report "Campaign Statistics".
- Select a start date and time for your report automation. Please ensure the correct Time Zone is Set.
- Select the recipients you would like the automated report to be sent to.
- If a tag has been applied to one or more recipients, you can specify a tag to send an automated report. Our knowledge base article here will explain how to tag recipients.
- You can select the option "All Admin Users" to send the report to all "Admins" and "Primary Admins".
- Select how often you want the automation to be repeated.
- Review your report automation configuration. If you are happy with the configuration scroll to the top of the page and click the "Active status" button.
- Click "SAVE THIS AUTOMATION".
- The automation you have created will be displayed on the report automation page.
How to create a report automation for a phishing campaign
While creating a phishing campaign on Step 6 - Reporting you can configure the campaign to automatically send a report at the end of the campaign tracking period.

Under "PHISHING" the left-hand column click "Campaigns".
- Click "CREATE NEW PHISHING CAMPAIGN".
- Configure your phishing campaign with your desired settings. Our knowledge base article here will explain how to create a phishing campaign.
- Your automated report will be sent at the end of the campaign tracking period. While configuring your phishing campaign you can modify the campaign tracking period on Step 4 - Campaign Tracking.
- Continue configuring your campaign with your desired settings. Automated reporting can be configured when you reach "Step 6 - Reporting".

Click "Create Scheduled Report".
- You can click the "Save" button and your report automation will be created. If you would like to review or make further changes to the automation proceed to the next step.
- To make further changes to your automation click "Open Automation Editor after saving this campaign".
- Click the "Save" button.
- Once you have saved your settings the report automation editor will open allowing you to make further changes if required.
How to create a report automation for a training course
While creating a training course on Step 7 - Reporting you can configure a training course to automatically send a report when the course end date is reach.
- Under "TRAINING" the left-hand column click "Courses".
- Click "CREATE NEW TRAINING COURSE".
- Configure the training course with your desired settings.
- On Step 3 - Scheduling you can configure an end date for your training course. If your training course has a dynamic end date you will need to edit the automation created.
- Automated reporting can be configured when you reach "Step 7 - Reporting".
- Click "Create Scheduled Report".
- If your training course has a specific end date you can save the training course and a report automation will be created.
- If your training course does not have a specific end date and you see the orange note or if you would like to make further changes to the report automation, please continue to the next step.
- Click "Open Automation Editor after saving this campaign".
- Click "Save".
- After clicking "Save" the report automation editor will open allowing you to make further changes.
- Scroll down on the report automation editor page and set a start date and time.
- Click the "SAVE THIS AUTOMATION" button.
