How do I add Teams notifications when creating a training course?
- Create your new Teams notifications.
Ensure that you have created a Teams notification as explained in the top part of this article:
-
Switch the sending method to Microsoft Teams notifications.
When setting up your training course, at Step 6 you will be asked to choose your notification delivery method. From the dropdown menu, select Microsoft Teams Notification.
-
Add your training notifications for this guide we will just add the test notification we created at the start of the article.
Add as many additional notifications as you may need. We recommend:- One welcome user notification, this will inform the users that they have new training to complete.
- At least one user reminder (this can be repeated, just be aware if you have no end date it will repeat indefinitely until the user completes their training).
- PLEASE NOTE: Reminder before due date requires you to specify an end date during the scheduling step of the training wizard, they will not function with relative training duration courses. If you wish to use a relative training duration, ensure to use Reminder after Enrolment as your notification type.
- One completion notification, to congratulate the user on completing their security awareness training.
Please note: PhishTAIL notifications cannot be used in conjunction with regular SMTP email notifications.
