This article will explain the multiple ways in which you can add recipients from your managed organisations to the Phishing Tackle platform. We offer various options, whether it's for a few individuals or a larger number of recipients. We recommend using one of our automatic synchronisation methods to make the address book easy to maintain.
To begin, simply create a Partner Portal account for the managed organisation, then add the recipients you would like to that account. This will allow you to effectively create separate accounts for each of your customers, keeping all data separate. To learn more about the Partner Portal click here.
- Manually create each recipient
- Importing Recipient from a Comma Separated Value (CSV)
- Azure Active Integration (Automatic synchronisation)
- Google Instant Sync (Automatic synchronisation)
- Microsoft On-Premise Active Directory Synchronisation (Automatic synchronisation)
Manually create each recipient
Manually adding each recipient is beneficial, especially when you are adding a smaller number of recipients to a managed organisation. This can be useful for creating a test group to ensure that the emails you send are successfully received or for demos of the Phishing Tackle platform.
This process allows you to enter the recipient's first name, last name, and email address, as well as any tags within the platform that you would like to assign to the recipient.
Importing Recipients from a Comma Separated Value File (CSV)
A CSV file can be used to import small or large quantities of recipients into the Phishing Tackle platform. In the file, you can add further details such as any tags you would like to assign to your recipients, their department, and their manager's details.
After uploading the file to the platform, the recipients are added to the address book.
Azure Active Integration (Automatic synchronisation)
Azure Active Integration synchronises directly from Azure into the Phishing Tackle platform. Once configured, information from your managed organisation will automatically synchronise every 15 minutes (by default) as recipients are added and removed from Microsoft 365, keeping information up-to-date. This eliminates the need to manually manage recipients within Phishing Tackle.
You will be able to synchronise information about the recipient, their manager, and department.
Google Instant Sync (Automatic synchronisation)
Google Instant Sync is our latest synchronisation tool, recommended for syncing from the Google directory. Using Google Instant Sync allows you to automatically synchronise recipients from your managed organisation to the platform.
You will be able to synchronise information about the recipient, their manager, and department.
Microsoft On-Premise Active Directory Synchronisation (Automatic synchronisation)
The Microsoft On-Premises Active Directory Synchronisation allows you to sync your managed organisation's recipients and group information to the platform.
After Active Directory Synchronization is configured, recipients within the managed organization's directory will automatically be added, changed, or archived based on information sent from your Active Directory every 6 hours (by default).
