Force Linear Training for Delegates

Within the organisation settings menu you can enable "Force Linear Training for Delegates". This feature provides admins with the ability to control the order a delegate can complete their training course content.

Linear training can improve the user experience by providing content to a user in a fixed order, you can ensure the user has completed all relevant learning material before they attempt a quiz or sign a company policy. This knowledge base article will explain how to enable this setting and explain what an end-user will see.

How to enable "Force Linear Training for Delegates"

1. Under "SETUP" in the left-hand column click "Organisation".
2. Click "Settings".
   
   
   
3. Click "Training".
   
   
   
4. Check the box labelled "Force Linear Training for Delegates".
   
   
   
5. Click "Save".
   

Linear Training from an end-user perspective

1. When an end-user logs in to Phishing Tackle, they will be taken to the End-User Training Dashboard. They will be presented with the training courses assigned to them and the user can select the training course they want to complete.
   
   
   
2. With "Force Linear Training for Delegates" enabled your delegate must complete the first piece of training content before the next piece of content becomes available. In the example below the Checking Emails, Links & URLs video must be completed before they can attempt the Quiz.
   
   
   
3. Now that the user has watched the Checking Emails, Links & URLs video this content has been moved to the "Completed" column. The user can now attempt the Checking Emails, Links & URLs quiz.
